Thanksgiving/Christmas at Zion National Park with the family

On the trip down to Zion, Esther amused herself by putting a book on top of her head.

This is an easy trail at the end of the road that leads up to the narrows. The boys took about an hour to go about half a mile because they had to climb every rock and walk along every wall barrier they saw. They slid down one rock "slide" and Adrian tore up his best pants. Darin did too!

A passerby was gracious enough to take about 6 pictures of us as a family. This one is not too bad!

Esther is always apprehensive of Eric for some reason (???) She always studies him intently and can't figure him out! We think it must be the small goatee he sports.

The cute dress that Uncle Nelson and Aunt Krissy picked out for Esther. After she opened it, she fussed if we took it away. So we just put it on and it became her favorite outfit!

Esther made the trip too! She was very compliant.

Aunt Krissy helping keep Adrian on the level. There was probable a 1,000 foot drop off yards away from them. YIKES!! Thanks, Aunt Krissy for all the help! BTW, Krissy is the newest addition to our family. She and Nelson got married last July. This was our first real chance to get to hang out with her. She is awesome! She is so chill and fits right in!

This is a short overview hike that you get to drive through a mile long tunnel built in the 20's or 30's. We held the kids' hands constantly!!

Everyone who got to come...that would be.....everyone!! YEAH!! Adrian, Esther, Eric, Miranda, Polly, Nelson, Krissy, Dad, Mom, Darin, and Elliot.
